Zumba is an energizing dance fitness program that combines Latin, Pop and International music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training (total body aerobic, cardio & toning workout) — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness. Many of the dance steps used in the routines emphasize the hips and midsection to help strengthen the core. You'll burn a lot of calories (up to 1000 in an hour-long class) and have lots of FUN doing it!  

Zumba is safe for participants of all ages and can help lower the risk of heart disease, reduce blood pressure and bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol!

Lisa Minor has been a licensed Zumba instructor since 2012.  During this time, she has been a popular and requested instructor at many fitness facilities in the Greater Pittsburgh area including 6 branches of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, Carlow University, Crunch Fitness and X Shadyside. She maintains current Group Exercise and AED/CPR/First Aid Certifications.
