Nebby Poetry Society

This month, participants have the option of writing one or two poems.

First, choose a random word out of the dictionary that you’re unfamiliar with and make that word the central theme of your poem. 

Next, try writing a monosyllabic, free verse poem. Use only one syllable words throughout your entire poem. The challenge is to keep it interesting without using rhyme or meter. 

Please bring several printed copies of your poems to share with other members.
