Eye on the Prize Book Club

Eye on the Prize Book Group meets the 2nd Monday of the month (January through May, summer break, then September through November) at 7 pm to discuss the previous year’s winners of eight literary prizes.

February 10—Night Watch by Jayne Ann Phillips (Pulitzer Prize for Fiction) 

March 10—Roaming by Jillian and Mariko Tamaki (Will Eisner Comic Industry Award) 

April 14—The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera (Nebula Award for Best SciFi/Fantasy Novel) 

May 12— James by Percival Everett (National Book Award for Fiction) 

September 8—Praiseworthy by Alexis Wright (Miles Franklin Award and Stella Prize) 

October 13— Orbital by Samantha Harvey (Booker Prize) 

November 10—Question 7 by Richard Flanagan (The Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction)
