Have fun with friends each week as you learn about circuits, coding, animal science and more! For kids in 4th and 5th grade. Register for each session individually. Registration opens one week in advance of program. 

Read a new STEAM themed book each month, then get together to experiment! Practice collaboration and communication skills as you work on fun challenges. Book selections will be both fiction and non-fiction. For kids in 1st and 2nd grade.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? If so, come join the German language group at Mt. Lebanon Public Library! Whether you’ve studied German for 5 weeks or 5 decades, this group will embrace your experience and introduce you to other German lovers.

Travel Talks is back! Join us on the second Friday of each month to meet fellow travelers and discuss past or future adventures.

Focus is on the events that led to the defeat of the Japanese Empire in WW2. 


Events include the war with China (1931-45), war with the Allies (1941-45) and events in Japan and East Asia in the Post-War period (1945-1952).

Eye on the Prize Book Group meets the 2nd Monday of the month (February through April, summer break, then September through November) at 7 pm to discuss the previous year’s winners of six literary prizes.
