Summer Reading Kick-Off & Midsummer Night Festival
Sign-up for Summer Reading is happening all day long for children, teens, and adults! Kids and Teens can kick-off their reading adventure during the day with spin art, glitter tattoos, and paper sculptures! At 4 pm the party moves outdoors with the start of our all-ages, family-friendly Midsummer Night Festival. Enjoy live music, food trucks, strolling performers, craft booths, a book sale, and more! Evening events will be held outside, weather permitting.
Our Midsummer Night Festival will be located on the Southminster lawn directly across the street from the library's lower entrance. A summer reading information tent will be set up on the lawn to assist you with signing up for summer reading. We recommend bringing folding chairs and blankets to enjoy the food and entertainment on the lawn.
