Meet the Author Family Book Club

You and your parent can meet three Pittsburgh children’s authors in our book club series this summer. Each month the author will talk about their book and read excerpt. Kids and parents will have a discussion and Q & A with the author. For kids entering 4th -8th grade and caregiver.

Registration happens when you check out the book from the children’s desk. Registration for each meeting opens one month in advance. 

August 11 features Paul Siefken, author of "Vernon Poche & The Ghosts of New Orleans"

Paul grew up in New Orleans but has made Pittsburgh his home for the past decade. He has worked in children's television for 29 years, at Cartoon Network, PBS Kids, and as president of Fred Rogers Productions. 
Vernon Poche & The Ghosts of New Orleans is Paul's first novel.
