A re-enactor from Plimoth Patuxet living history museum in Plymouth , Massachusetts, will discuss Faith, Spirituality, and the 17th Century. The re-enactor will present as Pilgrim Patience Brewster Prence. Patience was born in England to William and Mary Brewster. Patience arrived in America aboard the "Anne" in 1623 along with her sister. Her parents and two brothers had arrived three years earlier—in 1620--aboard the Mayflower (William Brewster served as the colony's religious leader until 1629). On August 5, 1624, Patience married Thomas Prence who would become the 4th Governor of the Plymouth Colony. She died in 1634 of a pestilent fever, and is buried on Burial Hill in Plymouth.

Plimoth Patuxet is a living history museums in Plymouth, Massachusetts, that replicates the original settlement of the Plymouth Colony established in the 17th century by the English colonists who became known as the Pilgrims.  We thank the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (SMDPA) for arranging this visit.
