Join Executive Director of the Veterans Breakfast Club Todd Depastino to learn about the Electoral College.

Americans consider voting a sacred right, but the original Constitution said almost nothing about it except to describe that strange and cumbersome mechanism we still use to select our Presidents, “The Electoral College.” Come hear how it came about as the “least worst” option during the Constitutional Convention and explore its quirks, including Faithless Electors, Unpledged Electors, Battleground States, and the odd status of Maine and Nebraska.

Did you know that a candidate could win in the Electoral College and lose the popular vote 78% to 22%? So the question proposed is: The Electoral College: Should It Stay or Should It Go?

Meeting Room A. To join us remotely, please register to receive the Zoom link.
