Why are trees important? What can trees tell us about weather conditions? In this hands-on, exploration-based workshop, students will discover just how amazing a tree can be! Presented by the Allegheny Land Trust. For kids ages 3-6 and family.
This event is part of Matt's Maker Earth Day Extravaganza! Join us to celebrate Earth Day and have fun at STEM stations throughout the library. Try your hand at filtering water, guess and test which items are biodegradable, find out about fast fashion and how to upcycle, and more! You can also register online for one of the amazing programs presented by The Allegheny Land Trust for preschoolers, elementary aged kids, and adults. STEM Stations are drop-in from 1:30-3:30pm
