We all love stim toys and fidgets, but what’s the neuroscience behind them? And how can you easily find sensory experiences that mirror those calming effects in your everyday environment, even when you may not have access to stim toys? Join us to play with a bunch of different fidgets, and even take a few home with you for free! Sponsored by the Matt’s Makerspace SHINE Initiative which promotes all-ages mental wellness. For 6th grade & up!
This workshop will be facilitated by Adrienne Marcellus of Rainbow Counseling Collective, the therapist behind the viral Instagram mental health account @allforthedopamine, who specializes in ADHD, Autism, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
