Are you a family historian who is ready to turn your research into a book? Use your creativity to self-publish your family history -- and have fun in the process! In celebration of Italian American Heritage Month, the library welcomes Tina Calabro to discuss her work and explain how you can do the same.

Learn how to:

  • Let your family story “tell” you how to organize the book.
  • Keep text and photos organized and accessible.
  • Find time for writing and project coordination.
  • Find resources and support, and keep costs manageable.

Tina Calabro is a family historian and voluntary project manager of the Italian Heritage Collection at Citizens Library (Washington, PA) and the Washington County (PA) Historical Society. She self-published her family history in 2023.
