Meet the Author Family Book Club

You and your parent can meet three Pittsburgh children’s authors in our book club series this summer. Each month the author(s) will talk about their book and read excerpt. Kids and parents will have a discussion and Q & A with the author. For kids entering 4th -6th grade and caregiver.

Registration happens when you check out the book from the children’s desk. Registration for each meeting opens one month in advance. 

July's authors are Cristina Rouvalis & Lydia Wayman with their book "Snoopers & Sneakers"

Cristina Rouvalis is an award-winning journalist with a talent for distilling facts about real people into lively features and profiles. Snoopers & Sneakers is her first foray into the wide-open world of fiction.

Lydia Wayman is an autistic advocate with a B.S. in elementary education and an M.A. in English and non-fiction writing. She uses her education and experience to help others better understand how autistic people see the world.
