AARP Drivers Safety Class

THIS IS A ONE-DAY REFRESHER CLASS.  Drivers who have taken a driver safety course within the past three years may be eligible for insurance discounts by taking this course.

$20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers. Payment must be by cash or check only and is payable at the first class.

AARP Smart Driver Course

This four-hour driver safety course will be offered at Mt. Lebanon Library on 9:30am to 1:30pm, Wednesday, September 28.  The cost is $25.00 per person or $20.00 with an AARP membership (must present card) payable at the first class. Advance registration is required as space is limited.  

In the driver safety course, you'll review current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. You'll also learn how to manage and accommodate for common age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time.

No written or practical driving tests are required.  The course is open to any licensed driver, but upon completion, participants who are 50 and older may be eligible for multi-year automobile insurance discounts. (Please check with your insurance carrier.) If you’ve previously taken this course, re-taking it can qualify as your refresher course.
